The Kasco 2400D 1/2HP 120V Pond De-Icer serves as your perfect ally in protecting your aquatic property during freezing winters by eliminating damaging ice buildups around boats and docks. The device operates by propelling warmer water upwards, subsequently creating an opening at the water's surface. 

Additionally, the Kasco 2400D Pond De-Icer boasts the strongest thrust in the market, providing larger open water spaces that increase protection for your property.

A unique feature of the De-Icer is its buffet to the overall health and wellbeing of your pond's aquatic species. By maintaining open pockets on the water surface, it ensures uninterrupted oxygen flow, allowing fish and other aquatic inhabitants to thrive even during winter.

Optional: C-10 & C-20 Control Panel (Sold Separately)
For more precise control, consider opting for the C-10 & C-20 Control Panel (available separately). The C-10 panel feature enables the device to activate based on surrounding temperatures within a 0-80 degrees F range, while the C-20 version combines temperature and time parameters and operates within a 0-40 degrees F range.

Optional: Industrial or Universal Mount (Sold Separately) 
With regard to installation, you may choose between the Industrial or Universal Mount (sold separately). The industrial kit is designed with durability in mind, utilizing stainless steel and galvanized parts to withstand the harshest environments.

It is compatible with a 1.5 in. / 40 mm threaded or unthreaded pipe, to be provided by the user. 

Alternatively, the universal kit allows convenient mounting on a dock or piling and lets you adjust unit angle and depth by rotation. It requires a 1-inch threaded pipe, also to be supplied by the customer.
